Join us on Sunday 29 June for cake, tea, local crafts and lots of other treats. Come and help us make our fundraiser great :-)
Whether you come to drink tea, eat cake and have a natter, or are interested in donating some things for sale, we would love to see you on Sunday. Our annual Langcliffe Teas event is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. Doors open at 2pm at Langcliffe Village Hall near Settle.
Penny Hunt, co-Founder of Craven Wildlife Rescue, says: “If you fancy baking something to donate to our cake sale, that would be wonderful, as there's always huge demand for good cakes. We'll have a range of local food and craft items for sale - and a fantastic tombola. It's wonderful chance for us to meet our supporters over a cup of tea and celebrate all we've achieved since our last Langcliffe fundraiser.
"We know that we are facing a very busy second half of the year and are already preparing for it. Last year we were inundated with hedgehogs on the run-up to Christmas, so we have invested in some additional hog accommodation in anticipation of that happening again. We also desperately need additional outside accommodation for our rescued birds, as they get better and prepare to be released. Every penny spent with us at Langcliffe will go towards getting us ready for autumn. If you can't come on Sunday, it would be wonderful if you would consider making a donation via PayPal, here. But fingers crossed that we will see you on there!"
