We need Helping Hands

Do you know that we have over 60 volunteers, taking part in a variety of different roles from hands-on animal care, transport, DIY, fundraising and many other things? People come from all backgrounds and all parts of the Yorkshire Dales, the Forest of Bowland, Cumbria and wider North and West Yorkshire and either work at the Rescue, or remotely, making a huge difference to what we can achieve every day.

Fancy joining our amazing team? We currently have vacancies for:

  • Volunteer animal carers - looking after our animal patients. You would work one morning a week, with full training. From cleaning out pens and topping up food you will, over time, get involved in hand feeding, particularly in the spring and summer when we have a lot of orphaned baby animals to care for.

  • Volunteer housekeepers - keeping us in order. This is a very important role at the Rescue, making sure that we have everything we need and that we can run efficiently by having a tidy and clean Rescue environment.

  • Volunteer fundraisers - to help us grow. Our patient numbers have doubled year on year so we need to raise even more funds to keep the Rescue running. Every penny we raise goes to our vital work and the more funds we raise, the more animals we can care for.

  • Volunteer tradespeople - to help us improve our hospital. As patient numbers have doubled, so the pressure on our facilities has increased. We need helping hands to ensure that we have everything in place and in working order, to make us even more fit for purpose moving forward.

If you are interested in helping out in these roles, or in fact in any way, please email us at cravenwildliferescue@gmail.com
